Baby Week Torbay will run from 14-20 November and for 2024 will have a focus on events, activities and workshops that promote the importance of having a close and loving relationship with your baby
If you work in maternity, early years, education or play services it’s not too late for you to get involved and host a Baby Week Torbay event. Your event can be aimed at professionals, parents, carers, babies, and children under 5, or you can take join in with the Baby Week Wiggle.
Throughout Baby Week Torbay 2024, families and professionals can expect to take part in a variety of free or low-cost activities such as a dads’ baby massage session, baby Bookstart, a pre-loved clothes sale and a Ramble Club.
Events will take place across the three Family Hubs in Torbay, at The Barn in Brixham, The Beehive in Paignton and St. Edmunds in Torquay and in community locations such Upton Vale and Paignton Library.
The full Baby Week Torbay programme is being finalised. Families will soon be able to view the programme and plan which events and activities they would like to attend. To ensure Baby Week Torbay is as inclusive as possible, events will be taking place over the weekend, details will be available soon on the Family Hub Torbay website.
Torbay first took part in Baby Week in 2023 after it joined the National Baby Week Partnership, which promotes the importance of early childhood, the first 1001 days and services to families such as Family Hubs and early years settings.
