Police were called to a bakery in Lucius Street in Torquay at around 2.30pm on Saturday 31 August following reports a suspect had entered the premises and threatened two female employees before stealing cash and a mobile phone.
Anthony Moss, 47, from Lemon Road, Newton Abbot, has been charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 2 September).
