The Police are seeking the communities help to identify who is responsible for a series of graffiti that has appeared across Torbay.
Over the past few weeks, several instances of this tag [pictured] have been seen.
Enquiries are ongoing to identify the suspect(s) and they are appealing to the community to provide them with any information which may help.
Inspector Chris Lithgow said: “I believe that someone in our community knows who has carried out this mindless and unnecessary damage or has information about who may be responsible.
“My ask is that if you have any information which could help us, to please get in touch. This could include something you’ve heard or seen on social media or witnesses to the offence.
“We’ve held off making an appeal until now in hopes that our enquiries would identify a suspect but, sadly, we have not been able to so far. However, I can reassure you that this behaviour will not be tolerated, and we will take a very robust approach to pursuing and bringing the offenders to justice.
Insp Lithgow continued: “Criminal damage in our community achieves nothing, other than community upset and an additional cost to the taxpayer.
“I’d urge anyone with any information at all which may help our investigation to contact us.”
Anyone with information which might assist their enquiries is asked to contact police on 101 quoting 50240060827.
