Following reports from the public that the addresses were receiving frequent visitors, suspected to be involved in the supply and use of drugs, Officers have secured vital evidence which was shared with the Force ASB Lawyer.

An application was submitted to the Courts for a Partial Closure Order on both locations to prevent the people causing these issues attending the address.

On Tuesday 08th April 2025 the Forces ASB Lawyer attended Newton Abbot Magistrates Court and the Partial Closure Orders were granted.

Within the hour, Neighbourhood Officers attended the addresses to issue the Orders.

A Partial Closure Order means that no one is allowed to enter the address other than the occupant and persons approved by the Judge and detailed on the Order, for 3 months. If anyone does they may be committing an offence.

The Police hope that those in the local area can enjoy some peace while the Partial Closure Order is in place, during this time the situation will continue to be monitored and action taken against those that breach it.
