Former Exeter City player Ollie Watkins scored for his country this evening (Thursday 25th) against San Marino. Watkins who currently plays for Aston Villa, played for The Grecians for three years from 2014 to 2017 and netted 21 goals plus 10 goals on loan at Weston Super Mare, moved to Brentford before going to Midlands side Aston Villa last year.

England were qualifying for the FA World Cup 2022. England scored five to the world football standings bottom side, other goals came from Southampton's James Ward-Prouse, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Manchester City's Raheem Sterling. England's fourth goal came from Calvert-Lewin's second of the night with Ollie Watkins scoring a fifth.
