In local football on Tuesday evening in the Peninsula league east Newton Abbot Spurs and previous league leaders Cullompton Rangers drew 2 goals each at Marsh road and on Wednesday night Okehampton Argyle took over top spot with a convincing 5-0 victory over visiting Teignmouth fc at Simmons park with all the goals coming in a blistering seconds half display.
