Local weekend football preview

In local football on Saturday, in the Southern league one Exmouth Town will be looking to return to winning form after their disappointing loss at Poulton Rovers last weekend

They entertain Larkhall Athletic at Southern Road and get 3 points to keep  them on track for a playoff place .

In the Peninsula league east Honiton Town make the trip down the A38 to face Ivybridge Town, Teignmouth travel to North Devon to play Torrington fc while Axminster Town have home advantage with the visit of Torridgeside afc to Tigers Way, Elmore Utd host Plymouth side Elburton villa and Sidmouth Town entertain Dartmouth Utd at Manstone Lane.

In the A&S Devon league Ottery st Mary take on North Devon side Appledore at Washbrook Meadow, Topsham Town play host to neighbours Exeter University at the Coronation ground while league leaders Beer Albion have home advantage over visitors Budleigh Salterton.

Finally in the Devon and Exeter league premier division Colyton fc have home advantage where Okehampton Argyle reserves are the visitors to Peace Memorial ground while in the 1st division East Budleigh travel to the Burston Meadow to take on Bow AAC , Upottery visit Chard second eleven and Lympstone Utd are away to Newtown. In division 2 Exmouth Spartans pay a visit to Cranbrook Utd and Tipton st John visit Clyst Valley seconds while in division 7 Exmouth Rovers have home advantage with the visit of Seaton Town second eleven to the Commons and Ex Don's make the short trip to Lympstone Utd reserves at the Marine camp in division 8.
