A full round up of all the local rugby results from this weekend.
In local rugby on Saturday in the Regional one south west division after last weeks victory over Brixham Exmouth Cockles came back down to earth when they were well beaten by league leaders Chew Valley at Imperial Road. After a close first half the Cockles fell away badly after the break and were eventually beaten 47-27.
In the Regional two league Sidmouth had an easy 52-14 victory over bottom club Burnham on Sea at the Blackmore field while Cullompton beat visitors Wellington 44-10 at Stafford Park. Topsham had a runaway victory by 68 points to 26 at the Bonfire field over cornish side Truro and Crediton beat Newton Abbot 59-29 in another high scoring game at Rackerhays but Teignmouth narrowly lost to league Wadebridge Camels 22-18 at Bitton Park.
In Counties one Western West Tivertons game at second placed Plymstock Albion Oaks was abandoned while in Counties two Devon Withycombe were beaten 40-31 in a close fought game by Devonport Services second fifteen at Raleigh Park and Honiton narrowly lost 18-16 at Plymouth side OPMs but Exeter Saracens won comfortably over Plymouth Argaum 40-21 at Roborough.
Finally in Counties Devon 3 North and East Exeter Athletic lost 39-31 to visitors Sidmouth Quins at Oil Mill Lane and Okehampton 2s had a home walkover win over Torrington.
