In Local Rugby on Saturday Exmouth Çoçkles fell to their worst home result of the season when they were well beaten 31-0 by visiting Weston Super Mare at the Imperial Ground and now drop to fourth in the Premier Division.

Previous leaders Exeter University also lost their unbeaten record with a narrow 22-17 defeat at Hornets who replace them at the top of the table.

In the SouthWest One Sidmouth lost to league leaders Chew Valley by 31 point's to 17 at the Blackmore Ground but Crediton managed a one point victory at winless Old Patasians by 25-24.

In the Western Counties Division Teignmouth beat visitors Burnham on Sea 38-29 at Bitton Park and Tiverton had a 16 point to 8 home victory over fellow Devon side Bideford while in the Devon and Cornwall League Withycombe continued their winning form beating North Tawton by 27-3 at Taw Meadow and Topsham remain top of the table with a 24-14 victory over Bude at the Bonfire Field with Cullompton easy winners at Tavistocks Sandy Park by 41 points to 10.
