Rundown of the weekends football results
In local football on Saturday in the Southern League One South Exmouth Town failed to add points for their push for a top spot when their were undone by a late goal in added time from the host Bristol Manor Farm at the Creek while in the Peninsula League East Okehampton Argyle move up to top of the table after a convincing 4-0 victory over Cullompton Rangers at Speeds Meadow, Honiton Town beat visiting Torridgside FC 2-1 at Mountbatten Park but Axminster Town lost 2-1 to bottom of the league Bishop's Lydeard at Tigers Way and replace them at the foot of the table.
In the WPC Cup Crediton Utd had a 4-1 comprehensive win over Wadebridge Town at Lord's Meadow.
In the A & S Devon League, leaders Alphington FC beat Newtown FC at Station Road, Beer Albion were held to a 3 all draw at home Elmore Utd, Topsham Town were thrashed 4-0 by Exeter University at the Coronation Ground but Ottery St Mary won 3-1 against North Devon visitors Appledore FC at Washbrook Meadow.
In the Devon and Exeter Premier League Clyst Valley lost 2-1 to St Martins at Winslade Park while in the 1st Division East Budleigh convincingly beat visiting Lympstone Utd 4-1 at the Recreation Ground.
In the Second Division Tedburn St Mary drew 2 all with Dawlish Utd at Barley Park but Exmouth Spartans lost 3-2 at University 4ths and finally in Division 7 Exe Utd beat visiting Cranbrook Utd 2-1 at the Commons Ground.
