A round up of this weekends local football results.
In local football on Saturday, after their FA Cup exit at Falmouth last week Exmouth Town were held to a one all draw in their first Southern league one south game of the new season by visiting Evesham Utd at Southern Road. Ace High gave Town the lead in the first half but just after the restart Ethan Moran levelled for the visitors but with both sides looking for a winner and several chances going bagging a draw seemed a fair result at the final whistle.
In the Peninsula league east Teignmouth afc had a surprise 4-2 victory against strongly fancied Okehampton Argyle at Simmons Park, Crediton Utd shared the points with a 3 all draw against visitors Elburton villa at Lords Meadow and Cullompton Rangers also had to settle for a home 1 all draw against Honiton Town at Speeds Meadow.
Axminster Town easily beat south Devon side Dartmouth Utd by 4 goals to 1at Long Cross with Sidmouth Town winning by the same score at newly promoted Stoke Gabriel/Torbay police at the Churchward memorial ground.
In the newly adjusted A&S Devon league Beer Albion started their season with a 2-0 home victory over Plymstock Utd, Elmore drew 3 all with Ottery St Mary at Horsdon park , Budleigh Salterton lost 2-0 at Plymouth students Marjons but Topsham Town easily beat North Molton 4-0 at the Coronation ground.
