Dan Cullen gave town the lead with a well taken goal in the 34th minute followed with two from Levi Landricombe after the break and with league leaders Tavistock loosing they narrow the gap at the top to just one point.
In the Peninsula League East quite a few game's were postponed due to pitch conditions but Sidmouth Town managed a one all draw at home to Bovey Tracey while Cullompton Rangers easily beat struggling Ottery St Mary at Speeds Meadow.
In the Scott Richards Devon League there was just the one local game with Exwick Villa easily beating visitors Budleigh Salterton by 4 goals to 0 while in the Joma Devon and Exeter League Premier Division Beer Albion were beaten 4-2 by Axminster Town Reserves at Fursbreak and Dawlish Utd went down 6-1 at home to Lapford.
In Division One Lympstone Utd had a rare win with a 1-0 victory at Chard Town Reserves and East Budleigh easily accounted for Halwill away by 5 goals to 0 while in Division Two Exmouth Spartans were held to a 3 all draw by Tedburn St Mary at the Commons Grounds but Tipton St John beat visitors Newton St Mary 2-1.
Finally in Division Nine Ex Don's drew by 1 goal a piece with City Raiders Second's at pitch 2 of the Commons Grounds.
