A round up of our local football matches from the weekend.
In local football on Saturday Exmouth Town were left still looking for their first home victory of the season in the Southern league one division after going down to visitors Bristol Manor Farm at Southern Road by 3 goals to 2. Town did take an early lead in atrocious conditions with a goal from new boy Nelson Lsequan but after his second levelled the scores at 2 all midway through the second half a late strike from the visitors left them once again pointless.
In the Peninsula league east Axminster Town lost at Okehampton Argyle to an 85 minute goal in poor conditions at Simmons Park but Cullompton Rangers easily beat bottom of the table Dartmouth Utd 5-0 at Speed's Meadow.
While in the A&S Devon league Ottery St Mary managed a 1 all draw with University side Plymouth Marjons at Washbrook Meadow, Beer Albion beat visiting Newtown 3-2 at Stovar long lane but Topsham Town lost by 2 goals to 1 at Plymouth side Mount Gould fc.
In the Devon and Exeter league premier division Upottery were beaten 3-0 by Alphington at the Cronicales and in the East Devon senior cup East Budleigh convincingly moved into the next round with a 7 goal to 2 victory over visitors St Martins.
All our other local games were either postponed or abandoned due to the weather
