In local football on Saturday after Exmouth Towns excellent victory at Bashley FC by 4 goals to 0 with one in the first half from Ollie Knowles and a hat trick from Tom Bath after the break Town return to Southern road this weekend to face visitors Shaftesbury looking to retain their position as second placed in the Southern League one south.
In the Peninsula league east new leaders Cullompton Rangers look to retain the position against fellow promotion hopefuls Newton Abbot Spurs at Speeds Meadow. Second placed Okehampton Argyle will hope to return to the top with the visit of Honiton Town to Simmons park, Sidmouth Town have home advantage with the visit of Bishop's Lydeard to Manstone lane but Bovey Tracey have to travel to north devon side Torrington FC
In the WCP cup Teignmouth fc visit Cornish side Bodmin Town at their Priory park ground. In the A & S Devon league our local clubs are involved in Devon county cup games with Topsham Town playing host to Beer Albion at the Coronation park, Budleigh Salterton visit south Devon side Dartmouth Utd and league leaders Alphington welcome Upottery FC to Church road.
In the Devon and Exeter league premier division Colyton fc visit Clyst Valley art Winslade Park while in division one Lympstone Utd travel to Newtown reserves at their Station road ground but East Budleigh play host to Newton St Cyres at the recreation ground. In division 2 Exmouth Spartans have home advantage with the visit of Beer Albion second eleven to the Commons ground and Seaton Town host South Zeal Utd at Colyford road.
