A look ahead to all this weekends football action
In local football this Saturday after all but mathematical securing southern league one south football for next season with a 2-0 victory at Westbury Utd on Tuesday night Exmouth Town will need to be on top form when they visit third placed Bristol side Cribbs fc.
While in the Peninsula league east there are seven fixtures involving our local sides starting with Axminster Town hosting Stoke Gabriel at Tigers Way, Crediton Utd have home advantage with the visit of Bovey Tracey to Lord's Meadow, Cullompton rangers welcome north Devon side Torrington fc to Speeds Meadow while Honiton Town host bottom club Dartmouth Utd at the Memorial ground with Newton Abbot Spurs entertaining Bishops Lydeard at Marsh lane,Teignmouth fc at home to Elburton Villa at Coombe Valley but Sidmouth Town have to travel away to north Devon side Torridgeside FC.
In the A & S Devon league Beer Albion host Topsham Town at Stovar long lane, Ottery St Mary travel to Plymouth to take on Lakeside Athletic while Budleigh Salterton go north to face Appledore fc at Churchill Way.
Finally in the Devon and Exeter league premier division Upottery FC welcome Sandford fc to Glebe park but Otterton FC have to travel to face Lapford FC.
In division one Dawlish Utd take on Newton St Cyres at the leisure centre , East Budleigh pay a visit to Ottery St Mary at Washbroke Meadow and Lympstone Utd take on Newtown reserves at their Newton st Cyres base .
In division two Exmouth Spartans host Exeter side Central FC at the Commons ground and Tipton St John entertain Tedburn St Mary at the playing fields and lastly in division 6 Ex Dons have home advantage with the visit of Exeter Royals to the Commons, Axmouth Utd host Railway FC at Boshill cross while Otterton FC travel to Sandford second eleven
