In local football on Saturday in the Southern league one south Exmouth Town find themselves 6 points short of safety from relegation after a 3-0 defeat at Malvern Town but with 14 league games remaining hopes are still high of avoiding the drop. Starting with this Saturdays home game against Bashley FC at Southern Road.

In the Peninsula league east Crediton Utd play host to Sidmouth Town at Lord's Meadow, Honiton Town welcome Newton Abbot Spurs to the Memorial ground but Cullompton rangers travel to the Churchward ground to take on Stoke Gabriel.

In the W P Cup Axminster Town have home advantage with the visit of Elburton Villa to Tigers Way while in the A& S Devon league Topsham Town entertain north Devon side Appledore fc at the Coronation ground, Budleigh Salterton host Bere Alston Utd at Greenway lane and Ottery St Mary welcome Elmore Utd to Washbroke Meadow but Beer Albion have to travel to Exeter side Newtown FC .

Finally in the Devon and Exeter premier league Upottery FC host Dorset side Lyme Regis at Glebe park but Colyton FC have to travel to Lapford afc while in the first division Dawlish Utd welcome Newton St Cyres to the leisure centre with Lympstone Utd hosting East Budleigh at the Marine camp.

In division 2 Seaton Town have home advantage with the visit of Farway Utd but Tipton St John have a trip to South Zeal Utd.
