After last weekends near complete washout in local football, clubs will be hoping for better weather this Saturday.
Exmouth Town who were without a fixture anyway, make the trip up the M5 to Winterfield Road home of Poulton Rovers hoping to kick start their season with a much needed win in their efforts to move off the bottom of the Southern league one south.
In the Peninsula league east Sidmouth Town host Cullompton Rangers at Manstone Lane and Teignmouth welcome Bridport afc to Coombe Valley but Crediton Utd must travel to south Devon to face Dartmouth Utd and Honiton Town make the trip to Mill Marsh Park home of Bovey Tracey , while Axminster Town visit Ivybridge Towns Erme Park in the W P Cup.
In the A&S Devon league Topsham Town host near neighbours Budleigh Salterton at the Coronation ground and Beer Albion welcome University side Plymouth Marjons to Stovar long lane with Ottery St Mary having home advantage with the visit of Lakeside Athletic to Washbrook Meadow.
Finally in the Devon and Exeter leagues in the Premier division Colyton fc welcome Crediton Utd seconds to the Peace Memorial ground while Upottery host Elmore Utd second string to Glebe Park.
In division one East Budleigh have home advantage when Dawlish Utd visit the recreation ground and Lympstone Utd welcome Newtown reserves to the Commons grounds , and in division two Exmouth Spartans take on Tipton St John also at the Commons with Seaton Town at home to Tedburn St Mary. Lastly Ex Don's take on Exeter Raiders at Bettysmead with Axmouth Utd hosting Sandford second eleven at the King George playing fields.
