Local football fixtures for this weekend

After many water logged pitches last weekend, our local teams are looking forward to returning to some footballing action.

In local football on Saturday after last weekends heavy 5-0 defeat at Larkhall Athletic in the Southern league one south division Exmouth Town return to home ground with the visit of Bristol side Cribbs fc to Southern Road and will be looking for a victory to move off the bottom of the league and escape relegation.

While in the Peninsula league east Cullompton Rangers play host to North Devon side Torridgeside fc at Speed's Meadow, Honiton Town welcome new boys Bishops Lydeard to the Memorial ground and Sidmouth Town entertain league leaders Ivybridge Town at Mainstone Road. Teignmouth afc have to travel north to take on Torrington afc, Axminster Town make the journey to Bovey Tracy's Mill Marsh Park and Crediton Utd are also away with the trip to Stoke Gabriel and Torbay police.

In the A&S Devon league Topsham Town travel to Tiverton side Elmore Utd at Horsdon park, Budleigh Salterton visit Thorverton fc at the recreation ground and Beer Albion are also away with a trip to Exeter University.

In the Devon and Exeter leagues in the Premier division Colyton fc have a home encounter with Sandford at the Peace Memorial ground and Upottery afc are also at home where Exeter University reserves visit Glebe Park.

In the first division Dawlish Utd visit Bow AAC at Burston Meadow, Lympstone Utd make the trip to Washbrook Meadow to take on Ottery St Mary reserves and East Budleigh travel to Teignmouth afc second eleven at Coombe Valley.

In the second division Exmouth Spartans host Beer Albion reserves at the Commons ground with Tipton St John entertaining Exeter University 4ths at the playing fields.

Finally in division 6 Ex Don's have are away to Exeter side Beacon Knights while in the football express cup Otterton fc travel to Awliscombes Greenway Lane.
