In the A division Budleigh Salterton were beaten by 39 runs by west devon visitors Hatherleigh at the Holt but Clyst st George returned to winning form with a deserved 34 run victory at Torquay. In the B division Cullompton lost at Bideford and Westward Ho  by 32 runs after running out of overs chasing the home sides 271 while in division C east no result published between Ottery st Mary and Exmouth second eleven played at the Mear but finally in division D east Topsham st James lost to Thorverton seconds at the University sports ground by 5 wickets and Upottery also went down  by 33 run at Exeter side Whimple.
