A round up of all of this weekends local cricket results

In local cricket on Saturday in the Devon premier league Exmouth secured bragging rights over neighbours Sidmouth with  3 wicket victory at the Fortfield ground but still remain 4th in the table. Paignton easily beat bottom club Plympton away by 9 wickets and 3rd placed Exeter overcame Bovey Tracey by 49 runs at the recreation ground.

In division A Torquay Kingskerswell travelled to North Devon cc and were beaten by 7 wickets runs but Abbotskerswell had a 62 run victory over visiting Thorverton at Two Oaks .

In the B division Clyst St George beat Bovey Tracey second eleven by 102 runs at that Bohea field, Torquay side Barton returned to the top of the league with a112 run victory at Cullompton, Budleigh Salterton easily beat visitors Stoke Gabriel by 7 wickets at the Holt but Teignmouth/ Shaldon were beaten in North Devon by Bideford /Westward Ho by 42 runs .

In the C division Ottery St Mary had a  convincing 8 wicket victory over Budleigh Salterton second eleven at Strawberry lane and Seaton won by 3 wickets against Exeter second's at the County ground while Alphington/Countess Wear beat Exmouth second eleven by 76 runs at the Maer.

Finally in division D east Upottery closed the gap at the top of the table with a 7 wicket victory over visiting Clyst Hydon at Glebe park and Topsham St James beat North Devon second eleven by 50 runs at the University sports ground .
