A run down of the local cricket results for the weekend.
In local cricket on Saturday in the Tolchard Devon premier division Exmouth moved up to 5th place after a 4 wicket victory at Queens Park over host Paignton, chasing a target of just 120 after a few scares the Mear side got home with 18 overs left. Sidmouth's game with Cornwood at Oak Park was cancelled both sides receiving 10 points .
In the A division Budleigh Salterton dropped back into the relegation zone after their 8 wicket home defeat by second placed Kilmington at the Holt but Clyst St George move away from danger after beating bottom club Abbotskerswell away by 6 wickets. While in division B Cullompton tied their game at Plymstock both sides finishing on 147 runs .
In C division East Ottery St Mary's game at Strawberry Lane against Alphington was called off due to weather conditions but Teignmouth/Shaldon won at Tiverton side Heathcoat second eleven by 7 wickets.
Finally in division D east Topsham St James narrowly lost at the county ground to Exeter second eleven by just 1 wicket while Upotterys match at Barnstaple was cancelled due to the weather and both sides receiving 10 points
