There’s still time to take part in a consultation and share your views on the services provided by the Council, as well as how resources should be prioritised in the future.
The Budget and Corporate Plan consultation runs until 9 January, and all residents are encouraged to take part by completing an online survey.
Residents are being asked to provide feedback on two important matters: the Council’s Budget for the financial year from April 2025 to the end of March 2026, and the city’s key priorities for the years ahead.
The first part of the consultation seeks feedback on how the Council can make the best use of its resources to set a balanced budget for 2025/2026.
The second part invites residents to share their views on the Council’s key priorities for the future, which will be outlined in its emerging new Corporate Plan.
Feedback on what matters most to residents will help councillors make informed decisions about both the Council’s short-term spending plans and its longer-term priorities.
Council Leader Phil Bialyk said: “We’re committed to listening to our residents, and this consultation is an important way for people to make their voices heard on the future of our city.”
The survey can be completed online at https://www.exeter.gov.uk/budgetconsultation and should take no more than 10 minutes.
If anyone needs help completing the survey, they can drop in to the Council’s Customer Service Centre on Paris Street between 9am and 2pm, or alternatively call 01392 277888 and select option 8.
