Last few days to apply for a postal vote

There’s still time to register for a postal vote for May’s local elections in Exeter – but time is running out.

Elections for Devon County Council will be held throughout Exeter on Thursday 1 May.

There will also be by-elections for two City Council wards on the same day, in Mincinglake & Whipton, and Topsham.

Anyone wanting a postal vote will need to move quickly - the deadline for postal vote applications is 5pm on Monday 14 April.

To apply visit the Electoral Commission website at  electoralcommission.org.uk/voting-and-elections/ways-vote/apply-vote-post

People must be on the electoral register to be able to vote.
