Exmouth Poppy appeal raises over £46,000

Exmouth Royal British Legion would like to thank you for all of the effort put in to make the Exmouth Poppy Appeal a success again this year.

They have banked the money, totalled the card and wreath payments and are well on their way to exceeding £46,000 this year.

Some highlights for you, this year they had over 100 different individuals help with the Appeal locally

There were over 730 hours spent at supermarkets manning the tables and talking to donors.

They provided over 100 wreaths for the Remembrance Service.

We took over £14000 on the card machines this year but thank you to Magnolia Centre and Brixington Post Offices who helped us bank the cash, it's so very difficult in Exmouth without the main banks.

The cadets raised over £1700 on the Saturday before Remembrance with the street collection - a really excellent performance.

There really is no way that we can thank you individually but on behalf of the Exmouth Poppy Appeal Team and any serving military personnel, veterans or their families who may have used or need the services of the Legion.

THANK YOU
