The Children’s Society Charity Shop on The Parade in Exmouth has been shortlisted for the prestigious "Best Charity Shop in the UK" award. Despite being a small shop with a limited team of dedicated volunteers, they've made it to the final six in the southwest—a remarkable achievement.
The past year and a half has been particularly challenging for the team. After shop manager Zaina fell ill, a volunteer stepped up to manage the shop with a skeleton crew. Together, they have worked tirelessly to keep the shop open and stocked.
