You can now nominate yourself to be a public governor for the Royal Devon and bring the voices of your community to our Trust.
Governors have a wide range of experiences and backgrounds, but what they share is a passion for championing the interests of staff and patients, and supporting local health services to be the best they can be for everyone. If you’re interested, we’d love to hear from you!
Being a governor is a voluntary role and involves attending a minimum of eight meetings per year, with further opportunities to get involved depending on your interests.
The trust are looking for 14 people from across our local communities to join our Council of Governors.
If we receive more nominations than spaces available, we will hold an election in August/September and ask our members within your area to vote for their preferred candidates. The elections are carried out by an external polling company and on a non-party political basis.
