Action call over ‘unfair’ SEND funding
Children in Devon with special educational needs get just a third of the funding of those in big cities. South Devon MP Caroline Voaden has called the system ‘completely unfair’ and urged the minister for school standards to take action at Westminster.

Devon County Council is urging struggling farmers to seek help if they’re finding things too much. It comes after the Dunn family of Underdown Farm, Exbourne, were banned from keeping livestock for 10 years after admitting animal welfare offences in court.
